Don't forget that you need to do self-directed surface research for your self-portrait project.
Use the artist list, reading list, gallery list on the brief handout as a starting point.
(If you are aiming for a solid mark you will be mirroring class time with this self-directed work.)
Remeber surface research is throwing out a wide net and collecting as much information as you can on any given topic, in most any way you wish.
